I was fortunate enough to call Joan one of my dear friends when we were in high school together. She was such a kind and friendly person. Years later, whenever I would run into her, I always marveled at the fact that she hadn't changed. I have many fond memories of our friendship. What a dear person she was. My heart goes out to her family. RIP, Joanie.
