McALLEN - Bonita B. Swartz, 62, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2011 in McAllen, TX. She was born on February 11, 1949 to James Melvin and Ida Bowman in Stearns, Kentucky.
She is survived by her loving family; husband of 40 years, Clem Swartz Jr.; son, James Douglas Swartz; grandson, James Douglas Swartz II; granddaughter, Mercy Geneva Swartz; sisters, Sylvia Strunk and family; Pat Ross and family; Kathy Bowman and family; Nancy Ball and family and Phebia Bowman; brothers, David Bowman and family, Gene Bowman and family, Larry Bowman and family and Ray Bowman and family.
Bonita was a great wife and mother she always looked toward the future for family happiness. Forgiveness was a trait she taught to all that knew her.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 6001 North 33rd Street in McAllen, TX from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
All funeral arrangements are entrusted to Ceballos Funeral Home in McAllen, TX.
