I'm so upset to hear this news today. I met Kat at a racing event I was participating in many years ago. She took such great interest in the details of what I was doing and her wonderful personality endeared me to her immediately. She made me feel like Inhad a new fan but in fact, I became an instant fan. My condolences to her family, she is (I cannot use a past tense) ...a beautiful person. God bless her and her family and friends. :(

Kathryn gave me a major break when she asked me to be involved in her 1991 SCCA Escort World Challenge efforts. The times we had in Texas were memorable, and even through the years, her passion and enthusiasm, her drive and ambition, are an inspiration. We didn't always agree, but it was always memorable. Rest in Peace, Kathryn...

Memories of Kathy from our teenage years at Horseshoe Valley. It sounds as though Kathy tackled the car race track just as she did the Horseshoe Valley ski race circuit in her early days. A driver in every sense of the word. Peace to you Kathy!

I'll always remember the first time we met Kathryn - it was a Corvette concourse in the 1980's.
Kathryn was cleaning her Corvette for judging : she just did what needed to be done , not worrying about herself getting a little grubby in the process.
When she was done the car gleamed, just Kathryn needed a little clean-up LOL

Kathryn is one of the old Corvette gang "originals" and will live on in our reminiscence's of the good times we shared : racing and enjoying our cars.

Kathryn was a dedicated and active member of the Corvette Club of Ontario in the 1980's. She participated in many CCO and Quad C slalom racing events with her fellow members. At that time she was one of the Club's youngest members. Honing her skills on many unsuspecting Corvette drivers before moving on to a successful career doing what she loved.
On behalf of the entire membership of the Corvette Club of Ontario we would like to express our sincerest condolences to all of Kat's family and friends at this very sad time.
