BRADSHAW Ronald A. 1931 - 2009 Area Little Caesars Franchisee Ronald A. Bradshaw, 78, passed away Saturday October 31, 2009, at his Temperance, MI, home. Ron was born in Detroit, MI, June 20, 1931, to parents Harold and Hazel Bradshaw. Ron opened his first store April 1, 1970. Over 39 years, Ron and his wife Beverly opened 3 dine in locations and more than 10 delivery and carryout stores, in the Toledo Area. As the business changed Ron sold 10 of the locations and took some time to enjoy life with Beverly and their grandchildren. Four years ago Beverly died, and Ron decided it was time to expand the business. Once again, at age 74, Ron opened a new store, and remodeled his 4 remaining locations. He was proud to have been one of the founders of the first Little Caesars advertising co-ops that utilized radio and television to promote their product. As the business grew, Ron was the recipient of many awards over the years. He was always willing to share knowledge and advise, Ron was instrumental in bringing several local business people on board as franchisee's. He became a zone representative in the International Organization of Little Caesars. Ron held this position until January of this year. He is survived by daughters, Karen (Ted) Buffington and Deborah (Ramon) Garcia; son, Ronald (Kim) Bradshaw Jr.; grandchildren, Ron III, John, Michele, Steph, Ted Jr., and Jess; great-grandchild-ren, Ethan, Logan, and Chantz. Ron was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beverly A. Bradshaw in 2005. Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 N. Main St., Sylvania, OH, Wednesday November 4th, from 2 - 9 p.m., where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be conducted at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance, MI, at 11 a.m. Thursday, where Ron's body will lie in state one-hour prior. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Those wishing to give memorials are asked to consider Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, Florida, 33073.
