John R. Dauphers, Jr., 54 of Ewing Township entered into God’s loving arms reuniting with his parents on Monday April 20, 2020 at Captial Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. Son of the late John R., Sr. & Pauline Sobon Dauphers. Surviving is his beloved sister Linda M. Dauphers of Ewing Township; as well as several cousins, good friends, neighbors and his faithful companion, a shepherd and labrador mix, Molly. Born in Trenton, John was a lifelong Trenton and Ewing Township resident. He was employed for the past 20 years with the Department of Transportation, Division of Highway and Road, as a Major Access Road Engineer & Designer on Parkway Avenue in Ewing Township. John was a die hard Miami Dolphins fan as well as a Van Halen rock band fan. John enjoyed trips and vacations with his sister Linda, especially to the Jersey Shore where the would rent out shore homes annually in L.B.I. and Ship Bottom. John truly enjoyed his hobbies in photography and being the family photo journalist. Although John was 1/2 Polish, he loved his Italian & Polish food, especially pizza and pierogis. Lastly John was devoted and loved his sister Linda and enjoyed going with her to local rock concerts, local events and just spending time together. Playing and reflecting with Molly was important to John, but his sister Linda was his “all”. He is already missed. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions when John passed in April, when the pandemic was at its high point and masses were not allowed by the Trenton Diocese. Please if time permits to join Linda in John’s final commemoration on Saturday January 23rd at 11:00am in St. Hedwig’s Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue NorthTrenton, with Rev. Dr. Jacek W. Labinski presiding. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery Ewing Township under the direction of Winowicz Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers please say a prayer for John.

To all of John's Family & his sister - John was an awesome guy, I not only worked with him at NJDOT I knew John long ago from our gym days at Hamilton Fitness Center. We talked often about the gym, football & he always talked about his family. His sister Linda was very important to him & his love for her showed whenever he spoke about her. We all at NJDOT were saddened to hear this news. Rest in Peace John
