Jack (Russ) Sims
March 12, 1939 - December 29, 2020
Roy, Washington - Russ was born in March 12,1939 to Margarette and Jack Sims in Medford Oregon. He passed away in Roy, Washington on December 29, 2020. After spending time in the Marine Corp, he married Annette Camarata and had one son, Chris. He was called "Bud" in his younger days as his father's name was so similar. He was a child of Oregon Pioneers who showed up
In wagons at Belknap Springs. He outlived 90% of his Sims relatives except for a sister living in Lovelick, Nevada.
He worked in automotive service before starting his career at Boeing as a pattern maker. In the early 1970s he married Sharon Harris and gained a stepson, Lee Roberts. They were married for 41 years before her death in 2015.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing pool, playing ball and was even a racecar driver for awhile.
He will greatly missed by all of his relatives and many friends who loved him dearly.

Russ will be missed by his buddies from the American Lake Engineer Golf Group. He was usually one of the first to show up for our Wednesday evening tournaments and only missed a few chances to golf
in all the years I knew him. We'll be missing you.....
