I met Roger when he came to Puyallup High School .we became fast friends. This continued over the years. We continued our friendship with fishing, hunting and camp outs. At his moms house in summer, we hitchhiked to Sumner, cut a tip tank in half , laid the pieces side by side, connected the two on our new boat. We launched it in the Stuck River to the Puyallup , then into Clark’s Creek. This crazy trip gave us a basis for a wonderful friendship (Like brothers). I’ll miss him very much.

He was the nicest man I have ever known besides my father. I loved him as a good friend and fellow school mate. I have had some of the greatest times with Roger and family. He was part of our "58er group". A bunch of us who went to high school together and still met monthly. He will be sorely missed. I grieve his loss with a heavy heart. Rest in peace Roger. You will be missed.
