Vesta Joe Reed

REED, Vesta J. "Woody", age 78, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011. Vesta was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She was also an active member with Past Unit Commander of DAVA #9, Job's Daughters, Rainbow Girls, Order of the Eastern Star, and Ladies White Shrine. Vesta is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William Reed; children, John T. (Sheila) Reed of Fairborn, Penelope J. (Stephen Loper) Morgan-Loper of Columbus, and Greta Reed of Dayton; 5 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Grooms of Fairborn; and faithful dogs Tipper and Duke. Family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, October 7, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Eastern Star Services at 7:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 8, 2011 also at the funeral home. Burial at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
