Hi Judy, We are so sorry for your loss. I wanted to share this poem with you because I think it would reflect Walter pretty well.

"When I'm gone, when I come to the end of my journey and I travel my last weary mile, Just forget if you can that I ever frowned and remember only the smiles.

Forget unkind words I have spoken; Remember some good I have done.

Forget that I ever had heartache and remember that I've had loads of fun,

Then forget the grief for my going. I would not have you sad for a day. But in the summer just gather some flowers and remember the place where I lay and come in the shade of the evening when the sun paints the sky in the west."

With love,
Diane and Mitch Sitter

Judy, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Uncle Walt's faith will remain an inspiration to many. The joy that he brought others when he played harmonica will long be remembered. May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand.

Uncle Walt, so glad you found happiness and peace. All of the struggles of your life were overshadowed by the love you found. You will be missed but I take comfort in remembering your genuinely happy smile and attitude.
