Lindsey and I were friends in high school. She introduced me to DCs and taught me the dances. I was with her when she got her first tattoo, the cross on her leg. We went to a Sox game togetherand thats just a few of the wonderful memories we shared. Im honored that I was able to call her a friend. She had an infectious smile and spirit. She had a warmth to her that made you feel safe telling her anything. She was supportive, encouraging, inspiring, passionate, and so loving.
Lagestee family, I pray you find peace and comfort in this terrible time. You have the most beautiful guardian angel watching over all of you. She will never be forgotten, she lives on in all of us who were blessed enough to be a part of her beautiful life. ❤

We met Lindsey in 2015. She always came across as 'real and authentic'. She truly had a zeal for life and was passionate about everything she did. She accomplished much more in her short time here than many do in a lifetime. She loved her family, GOD, singing, and her pharmacy career. Her laugh was infectious. Please know Bob and I have been thinking of both, the entire immediate family and extended families DAILY since we found out. Our heart goes out to you.

Although, I am listener of country music and never got a chance to listen to Lindsey Renee until I heard of her passing and got to listen to her singing on you tube. She undoubtedly was an interesting and incredible performer. No one should have to bear loosing their children before ourselves. I am so sorry and my prayers are with you. I cannot comprehend the sense of loss her family & friends must feel. For such an accomplished, talented soul to be taken while just beginning the prime of her life. I am a stranger. In fact I'd never heard of Lindsay until her death but I had to comment. She accomplished so much in her short life and lived life to its fullest. I will keep her in my thoughts for a long time.

I saw the obituary on the internet & for a reason I cannot explain I clicked on it. The video memorial was truly moving & Ms Lagestee was truly amazing with her education & musical gift, brought tears to my eyes !!

I know how the parents feel at this time...it is the worst club to belong to....we lost our 24 year old daughter last March 17th, 2019. They're are no words that could possibly take away the pain that you feel or will feel for time to come.... My heart breaks for your family. So very sorry to the family for the loss of such a vibrant and intelligent young lady and though I never got the chance to see Dixie I've watched many videos of their performances and she had the voice and stage presence of a true rising star. I'll always now remember her on the 17th of February the day of her passing as it's my own birthday and god for reasons only known to him needed a angel with such presence and may she rest in internal paradise and may her family, friends and bandmates have solice in this time of grief. Regrettably, not until reading about her passing in the newspaper, I never knew of this talented, intelligent and inspiring young lady. As a father of a 25 year old daughter and as a chemistry professor that has helped many young people achieve their goal of getting into pharmacy school, my heart aches for the family, friends and fans of Lindsey. Lindsey had pleasure of seeing the band play a few times. You had the voice of an angel and had the most incredible stage presence Ive ever seen. I'll never forget the days when I went to Walt's in Crete and she was working at the pharmacy there. No matter what kind of day she was having, she would always have kind words and a smile on her face. I'll miss you, Lindsey, but I know that you're singing with the angels now.
