I was working with Jim at 5 late. I was new. I was having trouble with some goof on Brady Street, Jim saw this and came over right away to help me out. I never forgot that.

I was one of Jim's sergeants at District 6. Jim was a professional officer that I could always count on to "get the Job done". His dry sense of humor and wit would leave people laughing constantly. My sympathy and prayers go out to Jim and his family. May God bless Jim and wrap His protective arms around him. St. Michael the Archangel (patron Saint of Police Officers) just received another fine officer to his ranks. RIP Jim.
