Sheila Lord Obituary
Sheila Jessie Lord (nee Ross) Born in Invergordon, Scotland November 6, 1911 and passed away August 10, 2008 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by parents, siblings and one grandson Robbie. Lovingly remembered by her family - three sons; Randy (Barb), Roy (Marlene) and Robert (Roberta). Grandchildren; Stephanie (Dan), Don (Kris), Dave (Yuki), Christine, Alex (Kim), Rick, Kim (Brian), Kathy, Keith (Patti), and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sheila worked for B.C. Tel - Vancouver, Sally Shops - New Westminster, Zellers - New Westminster, Woodwards - New Westminster, and Woodwards - Vancouver till her retirement. She devoted her life to her children and family who loved her dearly and welcomed her son's friends always. Grand-kids thought the world of "Town Nan", "Grannie" and "Great-Nanny". She was always a huge support to everyone. We will miss her dearly, but, grateful for all the years that we enjoyed her company. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice. "Celebration of Life" will be held at the home of Randy and Barb Lord August 23, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone welcome. Contact 604-942-1545 or 604- 467-8455 for information.
