What a solid fan of the game, I had the pleasure of meeting (& assisting) Greg at the advanced referee clinics several years in a row. He welcomed me the very first time I met him as if we had been long friends. Terrific rapport with all surrounding him. I can truly say that I am better person & referee for knowing him.
Godspeed to Greg & his family,

Every time I spent time with Greg it was about helping the referees. He will always discuss ideas on how to improve the environment for the referees and help them improve. He spent many hours volunteering for different referee organizations/events; always enjoying what he was doing and the friends he made along the way. Thank you Greg for your friendship and your contribution to soccer. God bless him and provide his loved ones with serenity and peace.

Dear family,

I am so sad that Mr. Watson is not longer with us. I started to referee 5 years ago, but when I upgraded to State Referee that’s when I met Mr. Watson. He helped me with every step on my way to get certified, he helped so many times with my computer question, he was always there to answer any of my questions. I met him in person 2 years ago when I attended the regionals in West Virginia. To see Greg in person was a different experience. He is one of kind of person you do not see anymore. He was for me like a referee father. He will be missed very much for all of us
