Aged 67 years
With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful death of David Anthony Keegan surrounded by his family. Late of Byron Bay and Pampoolah.
Beloved husband of Fay, devoted father to Mathew and Jessica, father-in-law to Tesa, and adored grandfather of Luca and Xavier. David shared a special bond with his brother, Greg, and was a loved and respected member of his wider family.
David was a compassionate advocate for community well-being, a caring GP, medical educator and dedicated member of the Mid-Coast Council. His warmth, wisdom, integrity and quiet determination enriched the lives of those he encountered.
David leaves a beautiful legacy. Forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Amnesty International or MSF (Doctors Without Borders) would honour David's values.

Farewell to a man who worked so hard for many years to help others and serve the community. It was an honour to know David Keegan and participate in his campaigns for Labor.

Dr Keegan will also be remembered with great fondness by The Cudlin family in Taree. He was always a wonderful and caring man and our hearts go out to his family, friends and work colleagues at this terrible time.
