Jim was regarded with enormous respect and great affection by all in the copyright, and particularly the collecting society, community. We will greatly miss his wise counsel, his fearless objectivity and his gentle and always good-humoured demeanour. Our heartfelt condolences to his beloved family, of whom he spoke constantly.
