HALL OAM, Associate Professor Roger Kingsley
18 August 1935 - 19 August 2025
Roger died peacefully at Cabrini Hospital, Malvern.
Beloved husband of Vera. Dearly loved father of
Cecilia, Gabrielle, Nicholas, Simon and Adam.
Cherished grandpa of Oliver, Nicholas, Asherah,
Henry, Arlo, Genevieve, Sandy and Aphra.
Loved brother of Max.
Roger was a pioneering paediatric dental surgeon
whose career at the Royal Children's Hospital spanned
four decades. He was a mentor, educator and
international leader in his field.
Roger's legacy lives on through the many lives he
touched and the generations of
clinicians he inspired.
Roger's funeral service will be held in
St. Peter's Eastern Hill,
15 Gisborne Street, East Melbourne on
Tuesday, 2 September, 2025 at 10:30am,
followed by refreshments and then burial at
Springvale Botanical Cemetery.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Roger Hall. Beyond his achievements, what struck me most was his warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness. Our interactions were always enriching, filled with thoughtful exchange and a spirit of friendship that I will never forget.
Roger touched many lives with his humanity, and I feel grateful to have known him. He will be dearly missed, and my heartfelt thoughts go out to Vera, his family and loved ones.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Professor Roger Hall's passing. He was not only an exceptional teacher but also an inspiring mentor whose impact on my career and personal development in paediatric dentistry is immeasurable. Professor Hall´s emphasis on the importance of a thorough patient history, attention to detail and his dedication to the craft instilled in me values that continue to guide my practice today.
I am extremely grateful to have been one of his students. His influence will remain with me and countless others for years to come.
