Brian Domes
Brian Domes passed away at home on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the age of 69. He is predeceased by his parents Ed and Mae (Mitchell) Domes.
He is remembered by his four siblings, sisters and brother-in-law, and their families: Grant (Shirley) Domes, -- son Brett Domes and (fiancé Chelsea Skye) and his daughter Margaret Mae, daughter Chelsey Domes and her son Daxton; Linda (Ken) Peters; Ross "Butch" Domes; Vernon (Debbie) Domes, -- son Ashley Domes and (partner Kendra Hale) their children Declan & Landyn, daughter Jacquelyn (Justin) Lowes and their children Maelyn and Emryn. Brian was born in Assiniboia Hospital on October 23, 1954. He had four siblings, Grant, Linda, Ross "Butch", and Vernon. He attended school in Verwood and Assiniboia. Brian worked most of his life in construction, first building grain bins and quonsets on farms all over western Canada and then later while living in Calgary building larger buildings such as Arenas in towns all across Canada from the west coast to the east coast including Inuvik, N.W.T. He eventually re-settled back in Assiniboia and took care of his mother in her remaining years. A Celebration of Life Service for Brian will be held Monday, April 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Ross Funeral Chapel, Assiniboia, SK S0H 0B0. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, at the gravesite of his parents. Followed by fellowship at the 55 Club. Donations in Memory of Brian may be made to STARS Ambulance.
