Donald Beaubien Obituary

Donald Mark Beaubien August 11, 1965 March 10, 2022 Donald Beaubien aged 56 died after a short battle with cancer. He was born August 11, 1965 to Bertrand and Rolande Beaubien. He lived on the family farm near Scout Lake until he finished high school. As with most children living on a farm, he worked hard helping the family and played hard having the pleasure of growing up with 4 brothers and 1 sister. He studied to be an Electronic Technician at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. During his time there he was awarded the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Certificate in recognition of Excellence. He worked towards his Red Seal Journeyman Certificate. Donald then worked for 25 years in this career before he started his own Company, Current Technologies Inc. A company that specialized mainly in Audio-Visual systems in various restaurant chains and other businesses in and around Calgary. He was dedicated to his clients. Don is survived by his siblings, Gerard Beaubien (Diane) and their son, Jesse (Alayna); Diane Daigle (Claude) and their sons, Patrick (Laurence) and Nicolas (Karine) and daughter, Melanie (Robert); Robert Beaubien (Tammy) and their son, Derek and daughters, Nikki, Jessica and Kayley; Richard Beaubien (Yvonne) and their daughter, Alisha (Byron); Paul Beaubien (Jody) and by his girlfriend, Joan Evans and her daughter, Paige and son, Bobby; aunts, Regeanne Klinck and Raymonde Nolius; uncle, Laval Beaubien, several great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, Bertrand (1981) and Rolande (2001); and a niece, Elyse (1999). Donald will be greatly missed by all. A Celebration of Don's Life will be held in both Alberta and Saskatchewan by family at a later date. If so desired, a donation to the cancer charity of your choice in Don's name would be appreciated.
