Edolph Ingeberg Orheim, beloved husband of the late Irene Orheim, passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 96, in the Weyburn General Hospital. Edolph was born on October 15, 1926 in Bergen, Norway. He came to Canada on February 4, 1927, and grew up on the farm in the Una district of Bengough, along the Willow Bunch Lake, by his parents, Peter and Andrea. He married Irene Mary McCorquodale on July 8, 1948. They lived on, and farmed the home place for 71 years. During their time together, they amassed a huge collection of antiques. Edolph is survived by his sister, Elene D. McCann, and numerous nieces and nephews. Edolph was predeceased by his wife, Irene, parents, Peter and Andrea Orheim; siblings, Frieda Orheim, Olive (Charles) Wanstall, Pearl (John) Robstad, Stanley (Verna) Orheim; siblings-in-law, Roy McCann, Bruce (Joyce) McCorquodale, Helen (Cliff) Gravelle, niece, Brandee McCann, and nephews, Dexter Orheim, Grant McCann. Funeral Service was held Monday, January 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Knox United Church, Bengough, SK. Linda Kirby presided, with tribute presented by Edward McCann. Pallbearers were Austin McCann, Sean McCann, Darren Ray, Travis Gravelle, Patrick Gravelle, and Paul Gravelle. Interment at Una Cemetery, Viceroy, SK.
