Yvonne Pearl Fluto (nee McGillis) November 18, 1928 Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan October 3, 2022 Calgary, Alberta Yvonne Fluto of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at the age of 93 years. Yvonne was born and received her education in Willow Bunch, SK, residing there until 1956. She then moved to Assiniboia, where she worked in the meat department of a grocery store until moving to Moose Jaw in 1966. Yvonne married Lester Fluto in 1981 in Moose Jaw, later moving to Winnipeg, and retiring to Calgary in 1998. Yvonne loved animals and always had a pet in her home and was available whenever someone was in need. Besides her loving husband, Lester, Yvonne is survived by her daughter Louise (John) Rumford, son Scott (Shanty) Fluto; grandchildren, Karen, Dwayne (Nicole), Jason, Eric, Tiffany and Teagan, great-grandchildren, Travis, Katie and Carlie, and her great-great-grandson, Ryker. Yvonne is also survived by her sister Dorothy Justus, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her sisters and brother, Helen, Roberta, Leo, Cecilia and Nora. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
