Albert Eugene Facette

Albert Eugene Facette passed away peacefully with his wife of 72 years and his two daughters by his side on May 14, 2018. Albert leaves behind his wife, Vera; sister, Abina; 6 sons and 2 daughters, Tom and Mary, Tim, Terry and Ruby, Theresa and Norman Proskiw, Mitchel and Gwendolyn, Dwight and Marianne, Rolan and Karen, Lorraine and Brian Olson; grandchildren; Sheila, Larissa, Loretta, Michelle, Emily, Chantelle, Ricki Ray, Greg, Dana, Ron, Heather, Patricia, Angie, Amanda, Blair, Steven and Stephanie and all their families which includes many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Albert was born on February 2, 1920, in Burtonville, AB. Albert and Vera farmed in the Tiger Lily area until he retired at the age of 82 and then they moved to the town of Barrhead. Albert's three great loves; fishing, boating and bacon filled his days of retirement. Albert was predeceased by his parents, Augusta and Eugene Facette; brothers; Wilfred and Roy and granddaughter Wendy. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from the Barrhead United Church.
