It is with heavy hearts that the Harron family announce Carolyn's (Carol's) passing on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
Carol was born on January 11, 1942, in Keppel Township (Owen Sound area), and was the daughter of the late Harold V. Hewitson and Evelyn Hewitson. She was the beloved wife of Larry Harron for 63 years, and the loving mother of Deborah Harron-Thomson (Garnet) and Douglas Harron. Predeceased by her son Paul Harron. Cherished Grandma of Devyn and Brooke, Mackenzie and Meaghan, Christina and Rebecca (Corey), and proud Great-Grandma to Cayden, Carson and William. Dear sister of Bill Hewitson (Isabel), Murray Hewitson (Pat), Gwen Lawrie (Ken) and the late Alan Hewitson. Carol is fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews from both sides of the family, her many cousins and extended family members, and good friends.
A funeral service was held at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery Arbor Memorial.at 10061 Chinguacousy Rd, Brampton, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
