John Dupe Obituary

John passed away due to Covid 19 in Brampton. John was born in Sydney -Cape Breton Island. John moved to Brampton fifty two years ago. He worked for the city of Brampton for 48 years. John's favorite time of year was Christmas. The city could not wait too see John work his magic. On the trees and decorations all over the city. John was respected and loved by all those who have known him. His favorite sayings were- Yes my dear- and I am not going anywhere.
John was a kind, compassionate, generous, loving man never wanting to draw attention to himself, he loved life and his happy place was at his trailer. John leaves behind his children Meshell, John, Russell, Christopher, Grandchildren- Jude, May, Justin, Mushera and many nieces and nephew, Stepchildren- Christopher (Jenny), Mandy (Chris), Jayne (Richard), Shaun (Melissa), grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Also leaves behind sister Flo (Ralph), Eileen (Ron), Margie, Mary, Doug (Paula) Henry. John was predeceased by his second wife Patricia Ann Conroy, son David Dupe. Grandparents Florence and Samuel Brewer, Margaret Dupe and Step Grandfather FitzRoy Gregory. Parents John and Alice Christina Dupe. Brothers Alex, Sammy, Ronnie, niece Dianna Dupe.
The family thanks you all for all the best wishes, prayers and positive vibes while he was sick. Cremation has been taken place. Due to his wishes there will not be a service. His final resting place is the Brampton Funeral Home and Cemetery in Brampton.
