John Longbottom Obituary

John Longbottom (Dec 10, 1944-Mar 22, 2021) died in long term care of covid related pneumonia at the age of 77. He was born in Welland, Ontario and raised in Brampton. He graduated from George Brown College as a licensed plumber, and was also an auctioneer, antique dealer and watch collector. He had a passion for his refurbished 1942 Harley Davidson with which he won prizes at motorcycle shows. John also gave liberally of his time supervising parental visits for Children's Aid Society. He is survived by his son Christopher Mitchell, his sister Lynn and brother Frank. John will be missed by his long time companion and friend, Nancy Millwood, and her three sons Patrick, Roderick and Byron. John was cremated and will be interred in his family plot in Welland.
