Martha McMahon Obituary

Martha was born in Camden East, Ont. June 3, 1940, daughter of the late Bob and Gena Hinch. She married her high school sweetheart, Mike McMahon (deceased) on her 21st birthday. Mom and dad met in Kingston, married, and lived a great life together. They leave behind their daughter Christine and son-in-law Steve, son Doug and daughter-in-law Elaine. Also, their four grandchildren, who brought them great pride and joy, Stephanie, Rebecca, Corel and Glen. And of course, great granddaughter Ivy. Martha was sister to John, Bob (deceased) and Carol. After mom and dad left Kingston, they became long time residents of Brampton, where mom worked for the City of Brampton, Parks and Recreation for many years. We had a great life growing up with fond memories, especially of our cottage. Mom always had lots of food and space for whoever showed up. Dinner always just appeared on the table. She had a love of cooking and passed that on to us. We love you. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Brampton Civic Hospital who cared for mom, especially Dr. Mirza and Nurse Victor.
