It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Caicco in his 92nd year. Dear son of the late Giovanni and Philomena (nee Amendola). Beloved husband of Lucille (nee Larondeau) for 69 years. Loving father of Angie Taricani (Bernard), John (Barb), Richard (Wendy), Wayne (Carol), Steven (Linda), David (Charlene), Paul (Maxine), Patrick (Marlene) and Melanie. He will be greatly missed by his 20 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by his sister Angeline Zimbalatti (late Anthony). Predeceased by his sisters Elvy Chiarelli (Tony), Amelia Caicco (Jim), Annie Pasquino (John) and his brothers Adolph (Connie), Pat (Adele) and Louie (Roseanne). Richard was the true definition of family man and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by those he loved. He will be cherished and remembered by everyone who knew him, including friends, neighbors and many children they babysat. His legacy will live forever as a Poppa. He was a legend and legends never die. Due to COVID restrictions and a very large family cremation with a private family Memorial Service at St. Jude Parish on November 4, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at the Espanola Cemetery and everyone is welcome. If so desired, donations to the Espanola Community Living would be appreciated. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME Ltd, Espanola.
