Thomas SMITH Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Thomas at home on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the age of 66 years. Loving father of the late Michelle and Thomas. Proud and devoted Grandpa of Steven, the late Jessie, and Liam. He is survived by his siblings Lorraine (Jamie), George (Lois), Dawn, Dwain (Lisa). Beloved long-time partner of Joanne Foster. He is predeceased by his parents Juanetta and George Smith. Thomas will be forever remembered by many nieces and nephews of Jason (Leah), Angel (Joe), Travis (Aneliya), John, Matthew, Marcus, McCoy and Macy. Aunts and uncles of the late Marlene, George, Herbie, Winnie and the late Billy. Great-grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, close friends of the late Tom-John and Tony (Diane), as well as extended family. Thomas worked for many years as a truck driver and could be found camping at his trailer in his free time. He loved the outdoors and being surrounded by the quiet and calmness of nature. Tom was also a die-hard Hamilton Tiger Cat fan and he loved his hockey and football. Family and friends may visit at the L.G. Wallace Funeral Home, 151 Ottawa Street North, Hamilton on Friday January 7, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., with limited capacity. Cremation to follow. Joanne right now you are probably reliving many treasured moments you spent with Tommy as I remembered him when we lived on the farm. Back then he was very young, we called him KO because he used to say that instead of OK. As I try to remember from years past I'm hoping as you remember Tommy it brings you DEEP COMFORT to know that you two shared a very special relationship and those memories will last you a life time. Tommy will be deeply missed. With Our Deepest Sympathy & Caring - Don & Janice Raymond
