WILLIAMS, W.F. of Hanover, Ontario passed away peacefully in his 81st year on May 11, 2023 in Kitchener. Wayne is survived by his daughters; Marjorie Williams Hambly (Peter) of Kitchener, Carrie Kizell (fiancé Antonio) of Brockville, Annette Williams Gazo (Stephen) of Beachburg, Tammie Cameron (Richard) of Milton, Adela Williams MacIver (Iain) of Milton, niece; Amanda Linegar of Toronto, 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, friend; Marjorie Dobson of Clinton and mother-in-law Bernice Sachs (Earl) of Hanover. Wayne is predeceased by his devoted wife of 53 years, Dianne Williams (Karn); parents Frank and Theda Williams of Vanastra, sister; Lydia Linegar; brother; Joseph Williams and father-in-law; Gordon Karn of Hanover. Wayne finished his career working for a few of the Metroland weeklies and worked for the City of Brampton for 18.5 years in the role of Internal and External Printing Supervisor and also was the Purchasing Supervisor until his retirement. The Williams family will receive guests at the Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will directly follow at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments to follow the service. A private family interment service will follow at a later date at the Clinton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
