We thank you so much for your wonderful care that was given to Phil's mother (Viola Singer) and to the both of us during the last few years while we have been dealing with our health issues. Eugene was always kindhearted, he was a gentleman in the truest sense. He would not back down if he knew something to be wrong. I will remember him for many things including when we delivered newspapers, his stack was probably the same size as he was. He just went to work and got it done. Words escape me, but my heart, and condolences are with you.

Eugene always was a bright smile in our day. I loved that he called me Michelly and that he always said "Gord we need you to sink this one" during mud bowl when of course you need to sink them all! We will miss him and we will remember his friendly face and welcoming smile that made Tsawwassen become home to us.

I am so sorry to hear of Eugene's passing. It is too shocking to hear of your loss. Like many others, I worked with Eugene during most of his career at Chevron. During this time, we had moments where we focused on what was important to us personally and for Eugene, the three of you always topped the list.

Many years ago, Eugene was my parents´ paper boy. He was hardworking, diligent, and always courteous. My mom used to "Oh, his parents must be so proud."
