If you put your life on the line daily in order to help others then you command respect and everyone wants to be your friend. If you put your life on the line and lose it while helping someone in desperate need, you suddenly become the hero that nobody ever realized your were. I admire you for the size of your heart, your bravery and your selfless act of heroism, but my God young man at what cost. I would like to have known you better James, but I think you've just taught us all what we needed to know the most about you. Thank you for touching all of our lives.

To Barb and Family , Your young son My Friend James is now flying, and soaring with the Eagles above us all now. To myself he was like an adopted son. It was my privilege to teach him a trade and watch him turn into a man. It was more of a privilege to call him MY FRIEND. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ,THROUGH THIS HARD TIME. If there's anything you need please call me. James is now with our creator and may be gone,but his spirit and memory will stay with us FOREVER.

So sad, so senseless, and too young to be taken from us. My heart grieves with you Barb,Tami and Shannon and I'm greatful for the many times I had the pleasure of being in his company. Many good memories of childhood days. What a beautiful man he grew up to be. He will be truly missed. So sorry for your loss, hugs and love always from Catrina.

Dear Barb, Shannon and Family,
We are so very sorry for your great loss. We all remember James and have many wonderful memories during his young years at Maplewood Daycare Centre. I still remember James vehemently supporting his friends in classroom and playground issues long ago in gr. 3. I hope his family's memories help them thru this terribly sad time.
