It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, Mac Neath. Mac passed away in his home on May 6, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. His son Randy and granddaughter Ranae were by his side at his time of passing. He was a long-time resident of Hespeler, Ontario and worked for many years at the Stamped and Enamel. Mac is survived by his children, Dan (Arlene) of Kamloops, BC, Tim (Terry), also from Kamloops, BC, Randy (Denise) of Hespeler, Ontario, Beth (Gary) Powell of River, BC, son-in-law Brian Hogg of PEI and sister Barb O'Connor (Bill) of Owen Sound, Ontario. Mac was predeceased by the love of his life Eleanor (nee Devere) in 2011, daughter Cindy Hogg (nee Neath) in 2009, granddaughter Patty Hoffman (nee Hillis) in 2022, his parents Samuel Neath and Frances Neath (nee Bloodworth) and brothers Sam, Roger, Earl, Percy, Bob, Lloyd, and sister Gloria. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. A special thank you to Dr. Celine Sandor and Nurses Debbie Charron and Benedetta Di Girolamo for your excellent care. We would also like to give Special Thanks to our niece/daughter Ranae for always being there for our Dad. You went above and beyond in your care for him. You brightened his day just by being there. For that, we can't thank you enough! Thank you also to his granddaughters Tennielle, Tasha, and Kelly for being there for him. A Celebration of Life for Mac will take place on Sunday, July 9th, 2023, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Hespeler Legion. Donations to Lisaard House in Mac's memory would be appreciated by the family.
