Ritva Anita INKOVAARA

We sadly announce the passing of our beloved Ritva Anita, on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Grand River Hospital after an ongoing illness. Ritva Anita will be profoundly missed by her husband, Tom Carson and her sons, Jarkko Inkovaara of Cambridge, and Martti (Susanna) Inkovaara, and grandchildren, Jonas and Erika in Finland. Forever cherished by her sister, Rose-Mary (Michael) Weinert and nieces, Meghan Frye and Melanie Heymans. Ritva Anita loved Christmas, often leaving her decorations up well into spring. Ritva Anita's love of animals brought many furbabies into her life. With Tom at her side, Ritva Anita left behind the suffering of many years of poor health. Ritva Anita demonstrated such strength, "sisu" during her illness. May she rest in peace now. Thank you to the staff at Grand River, Freeport and St. Josephs hospitals for her care over the years. In keeping with Ritva Anita's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home (519) 653-3251.
