Sharon Diane FREW

Passed away peacefully at Riverbend Place, Cambridge, on Monday, May 15, 2023, in her 81st year. Sharon is reunited with her parents Hugh (1976) and Hazel (1988) Frew (née Gordier), sister Cathie Macdonald (2014), brother Hugh Jr "Sonny" (2000), sister Val White (1990), and nephew Robert White (2005). She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews but especially by nephew Rick White (Kendra), and brother-in-law Allister White (Carol), both of Cambridge, Ontario, who will miss her greatly. For many years, Sharon volunteered at both St. Luke's and Fairview Mennonite homes. She would leave home in the morning, take the bus around town, and be home for supper. She made a new friend every day and knew many folks all around Cambridge. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Riverbend Place for their compassionate care, especially Dr. John Crosby. Visitation and Funeral Services were held at the Barthel Funeral Home, Cambridge (519) 653-3251. Interment at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
