Shirley Lilian Yetman SIDER

1937 - 2023

With heavy hearts, we announce Shirley's passing on Sunday, April 16, 2023 in her 86th year. Loving and devoted mother of Barry (Sherry) Yetman, Neila (Daniel) Rees, Harold Jr. (Jane) Yetman, Daniel "Danny" Yetman, Randy (Christianne "Chris") Yetman and Catherine "Cathy" (Kevin) Brown. Adored Nan and Nanny- on- the- farm to many grand, and great grand children. Pre deceased by her parents William and Mary Ash (nee Reynolds), her first husband Harold Sr. Yetman, her second husband Melvin Sider, siblings Albert (Margaret) Ash, Ruby Dwyer, Muriel, Tryphena "Phene" (Jack) Murphy. Survived by her brother William Ash, brothers-in-law: Mike Dwyer, Gerald (Brenda) Yetman and sisters-in-law: Rosalind (Ralph) Bickford, May Yetman, Marie Yetman, Mary (Carlton) Sider, Jean Bossert and Marjorie Lofthouse. Born in Carbonear, NFLD in 1937, and moved to Cambridge in 1964 and has lived in Niagara Falls for the past 33 years. She loved playing bingo, her scratch tickets, a drink and a dance. Family was important and she loved to spend time together with them. Friends and family will be received on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre 96 St. Andrews Street Cambridge ON. Funeral Service will take place the following day on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge ON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Shirley's memory and would be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to her daughter Cathy for the loving care you provided to mom for all these years.
