PRYCHAK, Clarence - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Clarence Prychak on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the age of 64 years. Clarence was born on April 6, 1960, at the Canora Hospital to Peter and Mary Prychak. Clarence was raised on the family farm and attended Rama School. After High School, from 1978 to 1983, Clarence lived in Regina, where he worked for Degleman Industries. He then moved back to help his parents on the farm. Besides helping on the farm, he worked in Kindersley as a truck driver in the oil and gas industry until the passing of his mom in June 2010, when he realized he wanted to be on the farm full time. Clarence always loved family gatherings for special occasions, and he really liked spending time with his nieces, nephews, great nephews, and friends. When the kids were small, Clarence loved to entertain them by telling funny stories. He also liked to give them rides on blankets throughout the house, twirling them around making them dizzy. He enjoyed taking the kids for ice cream, making a fort for them at the farm and teaching them how to drive. He also enjoyed his pets, even though he complained about them. Clarence was a self-taught mechanic; he could fix any of the equipment on the farm along with helping his neighbors. Clarence loved to fabricate parts and overhaul engines. He became highly skilled and was very passionate and determined to fix anything. Clarence was prepared to help all family and friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand, no matter what was required. Clarence had a big heart and was always concerned about family and friends' wellbeing. We will be forever grateful for how Clarence cared for Dad after Mom had passed. Clarence had many friends and he appreciated spending time with them. He looked forward to his weekly coffee visits in Yorkton with his cousin Cindy and her husband Bill along with their mutual friends. He really enjoyed being invited for a home cooked meal, whether it was prepared by his family or his friends. Clarence will always be remembered for his gentleness and generosity, and we will miss seeing his shy smile. We will always imagine hearing him say, "How much did that cost?" We couldn't have asked for a better Brother/Uncle/Cousin/Friend and will miss him dearly. Clarence's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, forever cherished, and fondly remembered. Clarence was predeceased by his beloved parents, Peter and Mary Prychak; and his grandparents, Fred and Rose Prychak and Dymetro and Katie Potorieko. He is survived by his brother, Larry (Tracy); his sister, Darlene (Darrell); and his nieces: Sandra, Christen (Matt), Leslie (Christian), and Jill; his nephews: Russell (Iryna), Tyler (Michelle), and Jordan (Danica); and great nephews and a great niece. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the medical staff in Yorkton and Regina who provided him health care. A Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2024, from the Chapel of Leson's Funeral Home, Canora, SK, with Rev. Fr. Ivan Simko officiating. Rite of Committal followed in the Canora Cemetery, Canora, SK.
