Sandy Wilcox (Tuffnell)
August 4. 1943 - December 31, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our mom, Sandy Wilcox on the morning of Dec 31, 2023 at the age of 80.
Sandy was born Aug 04, 1943 in Port Arthur, Ont., then moved to Arcola in the spring of 1948. In 1953 moved to and grew up on the hills north of Kisbey, later in her adult settled in Stoughton where she lived most of her life. Sandy worked for Canada Post for many years, volunteered at the Stoughton EMT.
She enjoyed bingo, reading, horseback riding, music and loved to dance. Some of her crafts included quilting, ceramics and paper toiling. Sandy's passion was spending time in her flower garden and yard.
Sandy was the second oldest daughter of Robert (Bert) and Muriel Tuffnell.
Sandy was predeceased by husband Leonard Wilcox, her parents and siblings, Marie,Scott, Leanne.
Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her children Gerald(Carole) Jody (AI)Jocelyn (Darcey). Grandchildren: Samantha, Jessica, Taylor, Tia. Great granddaughter: Nevaeh. Siblings: Jim, Brian, Susan.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to Devonshire Seniors Community for their care and compassion.
A celebration of life will be held May 11 at 2pm at 401 Main Street, Stoughton Legion.
