It is with heavy hearts we announce our mom's passing on January 9, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospice. Survived by her husband of 56 years Andrew, daughters Carol Ann Lauzier (Harold) and Jennifer Locking Topp. She will also be missed by her two grandchildren who were her pride and joy; Jessica (Martin) and Matthew (Emma). Also survived by her siblings Ida Potvin, Larry Russell and Linda Lemieux and their families. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Gordon Russell, brothers Murray and Gordon Jr. and recently her sister Geraldine also brother-in-law Real Potvin and in-laws Jean and John Locking. The family wishes to thank the nurses on 4N at St. Joseph's Hospital. As per mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Donations in her memory may be made to the Thunder Bay Minor Hockey Association.
