Adele Bevan Obituary

(nee Legros)
1949 – 2016

There is another star
twinkling in the sky.

Adele Bevan (nee Legros) age 67, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on March 13, 2016 at St. Joseph's T.C.U. after a year long illness. Adele worked many years at K-mart and at the Canadian Whole Sale Club. She loved shopping and being with friends and smiling. She is survived by husband George, brothers Aime (Gayle), Henry (Sandra), Archie (Linda), Louis (Shirley), sisters Claudette (Gary) & Leona, numerous Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews and friends Lynn & Sharon. She is predeceased by her father Raoul, mother Noella, her twin brothers Jacques and Jean in infancy, sister Lucy (Ranta), brother Roger (Legros). As per her wishes, she requested no funeral or memorial service. A private burial will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in Adele's name may be made to The Lung Association or Canadian Diabetes or the Charity of your choice. This is one of her favourite "sayings":

We little knew that morning
God was to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again!

Rest in peace dear
“sweet cheeks”.
We love you and miss you.
Till we meet again.
