Albert Orr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of a father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, Albert Orr on March 26, 2005 at TBRHSC at the age of 80.Al was born on Nov. 13, 1924 in Fort William, ON (Thunder Bay). He was a member of the R.C.A.F. from 1943-1945. After the war Al began an affair with motorcycles with road trips through Canada and the United Sates joining the Harley-Davidson 25,000 mile club. He also enjoyed golf and bowling. Al liked stockcars from being part of a pit crew at the CLE grounds to traveling to the states as a spectator, but his greatest joy was his 1953 Ford F100 ? ton, which he cherished. Al worked as a truck driver logging many, many miles until his retirement. After retirement, Al did what he enjoyed most, spending time with his daughter Patsy (Scott) Suchocky, grandchildren Jennifer (Mike) Marini, Danielle (Shawn) Goodwin, Boe Dubray (Kristy) and great grandchildren Justin, Mikel, Savanna, Dillyan, Ethan and McKayla, who will miss him dearly along with his only living brother Norman (Polly) Orr and all other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ella and Ray Orr, brother Mervin Orr and sister-in-law Bernice Orr. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
