Albert Rodegard

Mr. Albert Rodegard, age 96 years, passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Albert was born on March 25, 1916 in Morson, Ontario. He married the love of his life, Anne on November 10, 1958. They lived in Morson and together made their home on Lake of the Woods. Albert loved hunting and fishing. He and Anne enjoyed the outdoors and kept a beautiful yard. Albert had a great sense of humour, always had a joke and a smile. His sharp wit and kindness stayed with him right until the end. Albert will be sadly missed by his wife Anne; children: Kevin (Irina) and Elvis; grandchildren: Kyle (Sharise), Chulita, Amanda, Bethany and fourth generation grandson Ryden. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Angelique; siblings: Edward, Lillian and Agnes and daughter-in-law Elaine Comegan. Funeral Services for the late Mr. Albert Rodegard will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 29, 2012 in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James with Fr. Victor DeGagne officiating.
