ALICIA MARIE FRANCIS August 10, 1995 ~ June 7, 2023
It is with deep sadness and the heaviest hearts that the family of Alicia Marie Francis announce her unexpected passing. Alicia is now in the arms of her mother Cheri Lynn.
Alicia Marie Francis was born to Fredrick and Cheri Lynn Francis on August 10, 1995 along with her twin brother Christopher. Alicia was a beautiful and treasured miracle.
Alicia was filled with life, love, and so much laughter. She had a loud recognizable voice that would light up a room. She always liked to crack a joke to set the mood. Alicia was extremely outgoing with the ability to make friends wherever she went. She inherited this trait from her mother. Alicia was the type of person to call just to check up on someone. She was not afraid to voice her opinion. Alicia loved being surrounded by family and friends. She would call her big sis Jess everyday just to talk and laugh. Alicia would often show up unannounced just because.
Alicia's pride and joy were her two children, Layla and Leonardo. They filled her days with loads of sass, fun and laughter. Alicia often took pictures and videos of them playing, dancing, or being silly. Alicia and Paul were together for 9 years. They were committed to raising their children together. Through the ups and downs, their love for each other always prevailed.
Alicia will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her children Layla and Leonardo Esposti, love of her life Paul Esposti, siblings Cheryl (Shane) Bourbonnais, Bobby Francis (Stacey), Andrew and Daniel Patola, Jessica (Gordon) Massaro, Christopher Francis (Tamara), grandfather Gary Nigro, father Fredrick Francis (Angela), sister in laws Lindsey Jaworski (DJ) and Linda Massaro, cousins Michael and Michelle Nigro (Jared), nephews and nieces Joey (Tasha), Jamie (Tamara), Anthony, Jaxon, Frankie, Alex, Jayda, Ava, Sophie, Nash, Cain, Aleah, Maisyn, Kaidyn, uncles Michael Nigro (Keri), Robert (Val) Francis, aunts Lynda Fortes, Mavis Campbell, and Nola Nigro, father and mother in law John and Anna Esposti, brother in law Peter and sister in law Elizabeth (Keagan), the entire Francis family in London, ON and numerous friends.
Alicia Marie was predeceased by her Mother Cheri Lynn Francis, Nanny Dianne Nigro, Grandma Doreen Francis, Grandfather Bob Francis, and Special Uncle Bruce Groulx.
Alicia's family would like the thank the nurses and doctors in the emergency department and the intensive care unit at the TBRHSC.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a GoFundMe page to help the family and for her children Layla and Leonardo.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life for Alicia will be held on Monday June 19, 2023 from 12pm to 3pm at the North End Rec Centre, 954 Huron Avenue.

I worked at Algonquin and Hammarskjold when Alicia and Christopher were students at both schools. Alicia was so full of life and sociable to everyone. Was saddened to hear of her passing. Condolences to Chris and the Francis family.
