Allanna Pilon Obituary

February 6, 1965 – July 1, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Allanna Louise Pilon, age 56 years, announce her unexpected passing on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

Allanna was born on February 6, 1965 in Fort William to Allan McFarlane and Wendy Bodnar, and was the youngest of three daughters. She grew up in Thunder Bay and worked various jobs, most notably at Northern Woods. Allanna had a fiery attitude towards life, and wouldn't take any bull. She was truly a kind and generous person with an odd sense of humour. She had a great love for dogs, especially German Shepherds, which she raised for many years. Allanna loved her family and was especially devoted to her mother. She took great care of her Mom, nursing her and taking care of anything needed. She was an amazing sister to Dani and Toni and truly loved being an aunt to her nieces and nephews. Allanna will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

Allanna is survived by her husband Daniel Pilon; mother Wendy Bodnar and sisters Danielle (Loris) Mattiello and Toni (Greg) Breuer as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Allan McFarlane; grandparents William and Minnie Bodnar and Wendy's partner, John Dubick.

A private family graveside service will take place in Mountainview Cemetery at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Allanna to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, Thunder Bay.
