Andrew Miedema Obituary

Andrew James Miedema, age 32, passed away suddenly on March 7th, 2018 He was born in McKellar Hospital on January 11th, 1986 to John and Aly Miedema and was the youngest of 5 children. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician at Superior Elevators. He was passionate about sports and was involved with many different teams and organizations, most recently playing with the Brown Trouts. He is survived by his parents John and Aly, siblings Michael (Donna); Sophie, David (Michelle); Keira and Hailey, Matthew (Lisa); Lucas and Emma, Alyssa Saj (Matthew); Gavin, Quinn, and Ryder and Opa Pieter Joffers as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents Jack and Betty Miedema and Nelly Joffers. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Hope Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday March 14th, 2018 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pro Kids.

Andrew Miedema will be remembered in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 9, 2019.
