Angela Ward

Mrs. Angela Ward (nee Bruni) age 91 years, a resident of Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Born in Port Arthur, Angela was a lifelong resident of the city. She attended Port Arthur Technical Institute and later worked for over 45 years with the Royal Bank. Angela enjoyed crafts, working in her garden, and spending time at the family camp at Sunrise Beach. She also loved the friendship she received from her dogs. Angela loved her nieces and nephews and got great joy out of spending time with them. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Bill (Fleurette) Bruni, Julia (Eugene) Milani, Emma (Al) Toivonen, and Peter (Maureen) Bruni, and numerous nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law Murray and Cecil (Heather) Ward and sister-in-law Janee Ward. She was predeceased by her husband Clayton, brothers Frank and Jim, sisters Assunta, Teresa and Mary, parents Pasquale and Rosina Bruni, in-laws Thomas and Ada Ward, and special aunt and uncle Clara and Richard Ward. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Anthony's R.C. Church when family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass beginning at 10:30 am, celebrated by Rev. Luigi Filippini. Cremation will follow the service and a private interment will be held at a later date in Riverside Cemetery.
