Anne-Marie Brombal

BROMBAL, Anne-Marie (Annie) Passed away Wednesday January 7th, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, at the age of 58 following complications of pneumonia. Her loving family was by her side until she left this earth to join her dad in heaven (John Gecelovsky, 2012). Anne-Marie was born and grew up in Windsor Ontario, and lived with her family in Ottawa Ontario, Wollongong Australia and finally settled in Plano, Texas. Anne-Marie was a Registered Radiologic Technologist, with specialty certification in CT and Mammography, but her true passion was art (painting, doll-making, stained glass and other crafts). She also loved cooking and baking. Her greatest joy came through the love and smiles of her grandchildren, Angel, Anaiah and Marvin III (Effa), and her lifelong best friend Debbie Owens. She will be missed by her husband of 37 years David; children Andrea Effa and husband Marvin, Alex and partner Landon Harris, and Nick and wife Hannah; mother Mariann Gecelovsky (ne Novosedlik); sisters Lisa Landry (Dan) and Karen Linton (Scott); Mother and Father-in-law, Sister-in-law and many aunts uncles and nieces and nephews in Canada. Memorial Service will be held Friday January 9th, 2015 at 4pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 West Spring Creek Parkway, Plano TX. To honor her wishes her final resting place will be in Windsor Ontario, where she was born. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to: SPCA of Texas or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
