Arlene Drew Obituary

The family of Arlene Roberta Drew (nee Gibbons sadly announce her sudden passing at home on Sunday, April 18th, 2010. She was born in Port Arthur on September 14th, 1937. Arlene was a graduate of PACI and Port Arthur General Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1959. Arlene and husband Ray celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary December 26th, 2009. She always enjoyed camp at Whitefish Lake with family and friends. Arlene is survived by her husband Ray, son Jeffrey, at home, and daughter Dianne Drew (Italy). She is also survived by sisters Lenore Hoover, Lynda MacKenzie (Ken), brother Robert Gibbons (Alba), brothers-in-law Bill Drew (Kjerstin), Jed Drew (Lauri) and sisters-in-law Norma Lepere, Audrey Jackson and Shirley (Nachyk) Drew, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Arlene was predeceased by her father Fred C. Gibbons, and mother Eva A. Gibbons (Bishop), brothers-in-law William E. Hoover, Dominic Lepere, Clyle Jackson and Pat Drew. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences Foundation - Northern Cancer Fund would be greatly appreciated.
