BARBARA LYNN BERST April 22, 1944 - September 3, 2023
It is with heavy hearts, the family of Barbara Lynn Berst announce the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on Sunday, September 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born April 22, 1944, to John and Gladys Ridley. She met the love of her life Albert and were married November 18, 1961. They shared 61 wonderful years together and 3 beautiful children.

Barbara had a great love for her dogs, she was well respected in the purebred dog community. She enjoyed going to their camp at Shebandowan every summer and extremely enjoyed their winters in Florida with family and many good friends.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband Albert, children Kathleen (Mick), Kerry (Angie), and Tanice. Grandchildren Angie (Roy), Jacqueline (Craig), Ashley (Keegan), Brittany (Gordon) and Megan (Alex). Great grandchildren Wolfe, Skyler, Draeven, Troy, Ronan, Curtis, Hailey and Luke, along with her brothers Brian (Diane), Doug (Wendy) and many beautiful nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank all the staff of 2B of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their amazing support.

We are deeply saddened at the loss of Barb. She was such force of nature. Loved and respected by so many. Our personal memories are ones filled with joy and so much laughter. She will be missed. Thinking of all of her family during their time of proufound grief, especially Albert, Kathy, Kerry and Tanice.

My condolences to the Berst family. Barb had curled many years at the kakabeka ladies daytime curling We could always hear Barb when she was on the ice. She witty character made us all love her. Rest in peace
