BARBARA EUNICE ZERON
We are sad to announce the passing of Barbara Eunice Zeron on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the TBRHSC.
Barb was born on January 26, 1940 to Ambrose and Wanda Hunter (nee Murray) in Galt, ON. She married George Zeron and they welcomed their daughter, Ada. Barb and Ada settled in Brandon, MB and they enjoyed many years there. After retiring, Barb returned to Thunder Bay and her family there.
Barb's devotion to her faith was very evident throughout her life. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and sharing her projects with many. Friday Craft Night at Farrand Street Bible Chapel with Barb and her nieces and many others was greatly enjoyed. In later years, Barb attended Fort William Baptist Church.
Barb was pre-deceased by her parents, Ambrose and Wanda, stepfather William Paterson, aunts Christina, Mary and Grace and nephew Jeffrey. Surviving Barb are daughter Ada Antoniw (David), brothers Murray Hunter (Donna), Robert Paterson (Janet), sister Joanne Ketta (Gary) and nieces and nephews.
We want to thank Barb's friends, her 3 Musketeers, Janene, Mary and Dawn, who took such special care of Barb over the past few months. We also want to acknowledge all the staff on 2B at the TBRHSC who always went the extra mile with her care.
Donations, if so desired, can be made to the Sickkids Foundation or the Fort William Baptist Church in her memory.
