Benjamin Gerald Daigle age 29 years, was suddenly and tragically taken from us on Tuesday, November 30, 2004. Ben was born in Calgary, Alberta on September 19, 1975. Ben was just a little guy of 5 pounds but he grew into a whopping 6'2' handsome young man. Ben resided in Thunder Bay his whole life and he loved it here. He loved to fish and hunt like his father. Ben worked many different construction jobs over the years and was currently pursuing a career in truck driving, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Gerald Duckering. He was especially proud of driving the big purple mail truck at Canada Post. Ben thought highly of his grandparents, Joan and Les Daigle. He liked to drop in and spend time with them at their camp at Batwing Lake. Ben relied heavily on his close friends for which he had many, especially Dylan Lyons whom he lived with for the past few years. Ben is survived by his parents Laurie Miller (Ken) of Hamilton and Barrie Daigle (Tuula Miettinen), sister Christina, step-sister and brother Jillian and Jonathan, grandparents Les and Joan Daigle, Jessie and Gerald Duckering of Edmonton and the late Marie Duckering. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 04, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Church United (corner or Brock and Ford), with Rev. Kent Gibbons officiating. Services will be complete in the church. A tree will be planted in memory of Benjamin Daigle in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.
