BETTY PERREAULT Obituary

Betty passed peacefully at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home in Fort Frances, ON March 21, 2026. Betty was born in Sudbury, ON March 23, 1943. Joe and Rose Mary Perreault from Couchiching are her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her two children, Valerie Voss, Guy Voss and her two grandchildren, Peter Cameron and Caitlyn Olafson. Betty had many friends during her life (too many to mention) who thought the world of her. Special friends are Joan and Tom Foley, Andre Chamberlain, and Annette Wabegijig whom Betty considered her extended family.

She was predeceased by her parents Joe and Rose Mary Perreault.

Betty worked for many years as a social worker and was so good at her job. She had such great insight. She always knew what to say to help bring down stress levels. Even when she was going through a stressful time herself, Betty would never refuse a phone call or a meeting to help a friend who needed to talk.

Betty lived a relatively simple life. She loved the fresh air and loved to walk as much as possible. She also loved board games and was a great crib player. She read the Thunder Bay paper faithfully every day and kept up with all the news and sports. She was so well versed in just about everything and could carry a conversation with anyone. Betty loved her quiet time at her cabin on the lake for many years and also loved her fun shopping trips to Minneapolis nearly every year with her friends. Betty left all of us with so many great memories to cherish.

A Celebration of Betty's Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.

If desired, donations can be made in Betty's memory to Rainycrest in Fort Frances or the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital..Cancer Ward.
